I have not seen the aforementioned battle of bastards, but I can vouch for the revenant. The intial battle between the Indians and the trappers was insanely good. People accuse the director of just jerking himself off with the long takes, but the long takes in that scene really made the battle super immersive. Way better than shaky cam shit.

I have decided that I'm going to join the military.
