Been playing this since 2008, for last 2 years i just get up in morning and play puzzle pirates all day until it's time to sleep again, occasionally taking fap/smoke/eat/piss breaks.
Player base is kinda low right having 200~ logged in on regular day and 400~ on weekend on the largest ocean(server) Emerald.
And it sucks since back in the day there was only 1500 people logged in on the server and it felt very full, so we only need a few thousand new players.
I'm also making this thread to try and get some new players into the game, It's my life by this point and ill probably be an hero when it dies.

I am, since 10 October 2015 no longer a kissless virgin, but I used to be a real beta back in the day. I don't feel like my life has changed that much since I met my girlfriend but I think my view on dating, flirting, and especially my self-conciousness has changed quite a lot. Anyway, I'm going to try to help you guys change your mind about yourself, girls, and dating in general.
Things that I used to believe and that you probably believe but that are false:

No. You can't be too ugly, except if you got some serious physical issue, got burned or got acid thrown to the face. But next to that all you have to do is keep a respectable personal hygiene. Brush your teeth, take showers, get a haircut, do something about those pimples. It's not gonna take a lot of time out of your daily fapping/anime watching/whatever. When that is done, there is literally nothing more that you HAVE to do. This doesn't mean that really handsome guys won't have it more easy in the dating world, but you'll still have a chance. Even if you are obese. Even if you are super skinny. Believe me.

Nah (actually, does anyone still believe this?) Girls go for guys with a personality. Any personality can work, but it depends on the girl. The point in dating is 1: helping your self-conciousness go away and changing your mindset and 2: maybe finding a relationship that satisfies you.
I know you are scared of rejection okay, I was scared too. But getting rejected is the best thing that can happen to you. It makes you fear rejection less. You fear rejection because rejection is unknown to you. Once it is known, once you learn how to deal with it, it won't scare you anymore.

Learn to be socially aware of things, and keep having your own unique personality snowflake. If you change your personality you might indeed find a girl. But that girl won't last long and it will probably make you hate yourself even more once she leaves you. The point is drawing the line between being a normal, socially healthy and polite person and abandoning your personality.

This is again a quite chaotic subject. The problem with a lot of KV is that they think that girls are some godlike beings. I used to think that. Basically society does want you to have all sort of skills you can show off. And I think I should say something about that too.
You need to like things. Be passionate about some things. That is, while still being able to listen to people who have a different opinion on subjects you are pasisonate about. But still, please do like things. Anything really. You can start a penis-shaped mug collection if you want, at least there is something YOU care about. Caring about things is attractive. Being good at things is attractive. But the point of self-development shouldn't be to show those things off. They should just be things you like and that keep you busy while you wait for death. That's pretty much it. Don't become that kind of person who gets fit and tries to fit in in order to get tons of girls. You won't become happy like that. Just find things that you like. Anything really. It'll help build up confidence and you'll have something to talk about with girls.
