I am a 30 year old, kissless virgin. I have a decent job and live alone. Sometimes when I go grocery shopping I buy tampons for my non-existent GF, then go to a register with a female cashier.
I do this because I hope the female cashier will look at me and see someone who is worth going out with. I don't even necessarily want to go out with any of these cashiers I just want them to think I have a GF.
