What do you do to improve yourself?
Unless you have a physical and/or mental disability (in which case you have my condolences), you have no excuse to not lift, learn a language or teach yourself some other skill.
Pic related, I learned Japanese for the sole purpose of reading manga and watching anime, I don't even care about Japanese culture. And you know what? It's one of the best things I did in my life so far. I learned far more than just Japanese. I learned how to systematically approach a long term goal and I learned that I could achieve what I wanted if I set my mind to it.
And I got to shit in the faces of hard-working normies. I oftentimes slept during or skipped classes for the sake of sleeping somewhere in school, yet I won a prize for the best Maturaarbeit (think of a thing you'd do for a bachelor's degree, but smaller. It's part of our high school equivalent here and somewhat of a big deal) at the graduation ceremony. The look on the face of that arrogant normie from my class was priceless.
So, why aren't you working on improving yourself?
Self-improvenent is a meme. It's better to condition yourself to be satisfied with the way you are currently. Otherwise you will endlessly be chasing something.
I'm an apathetic, nihilistic, depressed druggie. I don't care about improving myself at all.

I am as well. Although, I've always been more mature than my peers in someways and less mature than them in others.
What makes being this way horrible is the fact that i have a very mature and intimidating looking face yet can't help but give off a nervous, childish vibe. This makes everyone creeped out by me even when I just order food at a restaurant. They also hate me because of this unnatural contrast of looks vs temperament.
I simply cannot relate to other's emotionally at all. It's like my mind is wired differently. As such, I cannot make small talk with people very well.
