That's not even true though. Healthcare administrators (MBAs/MPAs) get paid more than the actual physicians.
When you account for the outrageous loans physicians have to take out and the INSANE hours they have to work, especially during the first decade of their careers, they aren't paid enough, if anything.
It depends on the type of specialist in my opinion. A heart surgeon, he can definitely earn 20x more than me. But some specialist surgeon that mostly does routine surgeries? Hell no. Max 4 times more.

I take it. For the first month or so you'll probably feel happier and "brighter," then that wears off and you just feel emotionally numb and have less energy. That's how it works, you don't have the emotional highs and lows anymore. Sort of sucks because it zaps your interest in things, but for me it makes me much more emotionally stable.
