I dunno, when it comes to SOs and whatnot, both infatuation and love play a part, they work in tangent with each other so it's hard to differentiate the two. If you're doing it out of status/looks/sex only, then it's probably not love.
Then again, they say love takes time, but that sounds sketchy because if it takes time to fall in love, then aren't you just tolerating and getting used to the person? You don't really like them, but eventually you just learn to deal with it.
