I have got my first real gf outside of petty relationships when I was very young. She is innocent and loyal, and everything I look for in a woman. I personally feel more motivated, and care more about my appearances and relationships with others. Tis' a good life to be sure.
I will still browse /r9k/ to help others achieve this goal, and offer advice to those trying to achieve it. However, I will hopefully begin to post significantly less frequently. This is a 'goodbye' of sorts.
Thanks to all those people out there who helped me arrange dates, judge whether the girl was good for me and finally asking her out.

Down 20lbs, but I have slacked since late march and stopped counting. Though the scales say I've managed to maintain which is good.
I think I've made a permanent change though. Any day I eat shit or don't count it I usually get crippled with self loathing and guilt, and I literally think I look much much worse after a week of not counting than I would have had I counted. It's probably placebo since I've managed to maintain my weight, but I already think I look fatter again or that I haven't lost anything at all.
I think I'm slowly turning dysmorphic m8s and it isn't a good feeling. I've become so cripplingly self concious about everything.

Well I took one today and the teacher gave me the wrong exam. Fortunately it was an open notes test so I think I did ok, just a few questions weren't on the study guide. I told her and I'm thinking she will be lenient. Now my other tests?

This one will be hard because it is a ton of information and it is hard to gauge what he will put on the test or how much detail he will go into on the questions. Barely have an A in the class and I need an A on the test to keep it but probably not

Completely and utterly fucked. Guessed my way to As on the first two tests before bombing the last one. This is my only comprehensive final and I know next to nothing. The tests are also mulltiple choice which is nothing like doing the problems in ledgers and whatnot. Fortunately I made good grades on the other smaller assignments so I can make a 54% on the final and make a B in the class but I dont know if that will happen.

Seeing as I am 179cm/5'10.5inches (the half inch matters now ok?) and I tended to be either the tallest or the second tallest guy when I was standing with a group of people. Not anymore. I'm a complete manlet in Europe and its awful. Yeah I know the Dutch are the tallest in the world, so my perspective is skewed a bit, but its not just these Dutch bastards looming over you. Germans, Austrians, Belgians, just fucking half of Europe have average heights of over 5'10.

I met Brazillians here who are at least 6'0", Canadians, I even know a Korean guy who is easily 6'3". Us robots may be the least likely people to produce offspring, but if you have little nieces or nephews, or cousins or whatever, get them to drink their milk. It's weird. I've asked several different Dutch people why their population is so tall and nobody knew.
The Dutch actually used to be among the shortest in Europe in the relatively recent past. 150 years ago, it was actually a stereotype of the Dutch, they were depicted in cartoons as being little midgets compared to other people. Now it's the exact opposite, they have shot up in height like crazy over the last 100 years.
I'm glad I'm only going to be living here another few months. It's a cool country and all, but it sucks feeling so short all the time.
