This has to be one of the worst days ever. I may have to put my dog down, and all because of some idiot who attacked me over an argument!
I own a Siberian Husky named Princess and have had her for over 4 years. Early today I took Princess for a walk in the park like I do every day, and there was this small group of females with signs talking about how women are disadvantaged, and saying everything is rape.
This isn't the first time I've seen these idiots come at the very same park and harass people and overall, just making noise. I made a huge mistake actually confronting these idiots for once, hoping I can reassure their stance.
The result was one of females in the group straight up yelled at me and spewed numerous insults at me before I could even get some of my points across. After about 3 minutes of arguing with these nutjobs, one of them stepped forward and punched me in the face.
Princess has always been a very protective dog, even sometimes confusing affection for aggression. I swallowed my anger quickly and tried to walk away, but before I could step away, she broke loose from her leash and knocked the woman to the ground and severely bit her wrist and shook her head.
Her friends mostly screamed and tried pulling on Princess's collar to make her stop, but this worsened the situation, because now 3 women are injured.
The woman that started it has a deep bite wound in her wrist, the other was knocked to the ground and her face was bitten pretty bad, and the other had both her hands bitten trying to pull on her collar.
I managed to grab the leash and make a run for it, but they yelled that they would call the police.
I'm not lying when I say that I am crying right now. I really don't want my dog to be put to sleep over this.
