In our day and age, we live in a society where the male figure has declined substantially, and is still in the process of declining further. There are multiple things to blame for this, the earliest traceable culprit being the invention of the cubicle in 1960. This invention eliminated masculinity in the workplace. What followed was an entire generation of emasculated fathers who gave birth to a beta male. This is where the patheticness of a "robot" starts.
However, it's a wrong assumption to think it's something that can't be helped. It's very much possible to not be a "robot". All it takes is some actual effort. Sadly, the world as we know it has a lot of pacifiers in place that accidentally promote the lifestyle of a pathetic, emasculated NEET.
