sometimes i get too insulted if my grades slip and i just throw myself at the material and battle with it until it works out. i won't let the class end with anything less than an 85, that's my standard.

I went to McDonald's today and got a Filet-O-Fish combo with a bacon cheeseburger on the side. I was eating it in my vehicle in the parking lot and listening to an audiobook when I glanced up and saw the McDonald's worker I ordered outside having a cigarette.
She waved at me and I nodded and had to wait 7 minutes before she went back inside and I could eat in comfort again. I don't think that employees should be bothering or even trying to socialize with customers outside of the McDonald's restaurant or drive through, but that is another story.
I went to McDonald's for dinner tonight and got a McChicken combo with a bacon cheeseburger on the side. As I was driving to the second window the same girl was still working. She was acting somewhat obsequious and attempting small talk when she asked, 'why don't you come eat inside instead of in the parking lot where it is cold'.
That really bothered me for many reasons. First of all, I don't want my routine or actions to be tracked by a fast food employee. Secondly, she should not try to tell me how I should live my life. I do not want to eat inside because I find it less comfortable and would much rather be inside my vehicle listening to an audiobook and enjoying myself and my privacy.
Overall, I think it was very unprofessional to bring this up. I should have a clean slate with each drive through visit, not have to get the third degree because I committed some sort of faux pas. Which I don't think I did, because I often see people eating in fast food parking lots. How does she know I am not busy going to work or somewhere in a rush?
How do you feel about eating in your vehicle in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant versus eating inside the restaurant?

I'm a McDonald's employee and I wish I could eat my crew meal in my car. We're not allowed to take it outside. I'm also supposed to eat in the break room but I don't like to so I eat in the lobby.
I've gotten more used to eating in front of people, but I still prefer to eat alone so I can take my time. 30 minutes for lunch isn't enough for me.

Mine kicks in whenever I have something I care about, am proud of, or otherwise makes me feel anything. I have to keep counting to 3,5,7 or 10 or otherwise I'll lose whatever skill, happiness etc. I've gained forever. I've stopped feeling pretty much everything because of it.
Struggled with it as severely as you described for most of my early life, but I can keep it under control for the most part now.
Obsessive counting of objects, bodily revolutions, hand taps / touches and other motions, sentences in a paragraph, words on a line, letters in a word... whenever I catch myself doing it now, I intentionally ruin my counting and then steel myself against spasming and irritation.

It's odd, mine really kicked in later. I showed tendencies as a child, but I had a hugely traumatic incident that got me actually started. It's gotten better, but in the time since it happened I've lost nearly everything about me.
What did you used to do about things you couldn't change? I'm fortunate in that it's just numbers of tabs, number of thing I'm choosing from, etc. but you have letters in a word, sentences in a paragraph. How did you read books?

I have severe contamination OCD. My hands bleed from all the washing. I have to shower profusely after every visit to the washroom (I restrict water and food intake so I don't have to pee often).
There's been times where I didn't leave my house for 3 months, and sometimes I get caught in compulsion cycles in which I don't stop doing compulsions for 6+ hours straight.
I also fear airborne contaminants so sometimes I have to exhale or cough in an attempt to free myself from airborne germs. It also sometimes involves shaking my body around to avoid any airborne germs.
It was so bad in highschool that I had to drop out and be homeschooled. Feels bad, but I'm so glad you made this thread. I needed to rant about this bullshit. I can't work, I can't leave my house for more than a few hours. I spend all day doing compulsions.
Make me feel sad. I need the final push to suicide.
It is easy to be sad. It is more difficult to be happy. It is even more difficult to realize you have no choice and do the best in order not to make others you love sad.
You are sad yes. You must wait it out or try to be happy. Personally, as you may know comedy is the most effective.

Heh I just had a dream where I was a qt anime girl. I was playing this weird version of tag with other qts and the goal was to undress the person on the defensive side I was one of the people on the defensive side and we could also turn into pidgeons to disguise ourslef so I did however, I moved my head in a way that seemed unnatural and the other team noticed so they started running towards us they transformed back and were able to get away alot faster than me who unfortionately was begining to get undressed I started pulling my self towards a door which exposed my butt but managed to get inside but and then through another door and got pulled through by these other qts I connot remember what they looked like and they brought me into this room with like this car obstical course or something and then we stopped and look towards where the people who were chasing me were going to come and then this qt came in and got shocked as the people who saved me were apearently really important or something and ran away then I was going to ask them a question but as I turned to ask I woke up for some reason I tried to go back to sleep to chase the qts but it was to no avail. I didn't even get to feel my soft qt ass :(
