Guys I'm seriously convinced I'm mentally retarded at this point. Do you guys want a robot friend or do you think it would be too awkward/too much pressure? Sometimes I dream of (male) friend who'd be like me but then I think I might not be able to handle someone with heavy depression. I'm also afraid I'd fall in love with someone who cares about me.
It's just a romantic idea that it would be cool.
In reality, the robots friend will have some social/political/cultural whatever opinion which is contrary to yours, and while normal people realize some differences that will not be overcome and leave that topic aside, asperger people will stick to it, and discuss like retards until people don't really like each other much anymore.

I'm almost finished with school, and all future job opportunities will be above minimum wage, meaning a better opportunity for me to buy a house, or at least put a down payment on one. but. i was wondering if there were any financially responsible robots that could give me advice.

next you want to make the call, go tour an apartment or two in different areas. pick one you like, and go park there in the complex around 8 or when darkness falls. Sit there for a few hours listening to shit on your phone, take note of what your neighbors would be like. do they loiter around the common hallway? thugs in the parking lot listening to loud music? do people walk their dogs and not pick the shit up? how bright is the parking lot? do you see any cameras that might catch a criminal?
