I need some help r9k and /fit/ is full of nonsense and pseudoscience.
What lifting program or routine should I do?
I've lifted in the past and know the proper form for everything, but I was just doing random bullshit and never anything useful. So someone please tell me, what is a good routine?
I tried 5x5 strong lifts for a couple weeks last month, but it only require you to 3 exercises a day and I would finish in 20-30 minutes, which seems like wayyyyy to short of a time for it to be a good or proper workout.
So what do you advise? Not looking for diet advice as I already have that under control and am very good with my diet. I just am unsure what lifting routine to do.

if your bmi is above 24 and you can't run a 5k in under 25min you should not start lifting, but rather eating below your tdee and doing moderate cardio

My BMI is 22, I'm mostly just skinny fat. I haven't exercised in a month or so. The 5K thing sounds a bit excessive, I know that takes many, many weeks to do and I don't see why I shouldn't lift instead.

I don't play an instrument. I can't sing either. I can't do anything.
I bought a cheap strat a couple years ago and practiced maybe an hour a day for a few weeks. It hurt my fingers and the only song I could play was Brain Stew by Green Day. I'm thinking about picking it up again but I live in an apartment and I don't want to make a lot of noise. But I still like to think about starting a band. Whenever I listen to music I like to think that it's me singing the song or playing the guitar.
One thing I have done is make lyrics. I'm not sure how to say this, but whenever I'm thinking about something I'll come up with great things inside my head and I'll write the words into my notepad. When I listen to music I like to replace the real lyrics with my own if that makes sense.
Even though I have no musical talent, starting a band feels more possible than getting a job at this point.

I would like to know how many people here actually listen to their heart instead of ignoring it.
Because sometimes I have this thing that I can feel two different opinions inside of me. One is telling me to do something good or achieve something and other is just some obnoxious piece of shit yelling and screaming.

Last time I listened to my heart, I bought a bicycle for $450 instead of saving that money for a car. That was in July 2015. Since then, I've lost 75 pounds, become happy, bought another bike, and I'm getting pretty good. I turn 20 next month. I waw about never accomplishing anything as a teenager, but cycling has changed that. Listening to my heart was a really good decision.

Britfag here, hoping some of my compatriots can offer me some advice that Google can't.
i fucked up my GCSEs pretty badly because I was a complete wreck when I was 16 and only managed to get 4 A*-C grades. I'm now in a position where I'm ready to get some proper qualifications but the course I want to get on requires 6. I don't really want to spend an entire year studying for a GCSE exam if possible, so I'll have to pick two subjects based upon that. Obviously that throws shit like Geography out of the window cos I won't know what will be on the exam.
One of the ones I failed was Maths, which I'm sure I could get at least a C in now. The next easiest one, I think, would be PE, but I'm not sure.
Or should I just try and get some fake certificates from the dark web?
