good question. I guess it has something to do with the social hierarchy and the interaction between bullies and betas in Euro vs. US high schools. I see you chose eastern Europe because, obviously the reason there are no shootings in western Europe is they have sensible gun laws while guns are still widely available in eastern Europe due to recent wars.
Personally, I think the US society is just more fucked up than ours. I'm shit euro, but there's so little armed violence here apart from a few robberies and even then nobody gets shot, not the cops, not the guards, not even the perp. Something about America just makes Americans wanna grab guns and shoot people.
