You get used to it. Being homeless in a place with winter is seriously bad, you can get ill very easily and even freeze to death w/o even knowing it.

What is it like to enlist?
It seems like a good option for someone who wants to start over. You get some income, you can retire at an early age, you get to do boring shit but also interesting, non-wagekek stuff, and you get to travel sometimes.
Also, Chad doesn't join the army, so the environment will probably not be that bad.

/r9k/, Femanon here. I was talking with some friends, they said this would be a good place to ask/confirm some things.
So I have this friend, right? Met him a while ago at the library. We were in line together, I was bored, and so I just struck up a conversation. Gave him my number, we've been talking and hanging out ever since. Well yesterday he asked me out, and I declined. He's a cool person, but I'm busy with my life right now, not looking to date, and I have a policy of not dating friends. ( The social circle issues during a break up are hell. Never again. ) He kind of got upset with me. Now he won't talk with me.
So I asked my older brother for advice or insight via email. Mostly I wanted to know why guys do this. Convo went like:

Honestly, I don't really believe this, and think he's being melodramatic. He's married with 3 kids. He's not in a position to talk about downtrodden men.
