A tulpa isn't something you interact with when you feel like it, you create them with the intention
of being together for a long time.

It is one of the best forms of escapism, if it eventually becomes a daily thing it
can definitely allow you to have many expieriences you'll never have when awake

>do reality checks of your choice numerous times during the day
>look for patterns in your dreams to indicate that you're in a dream (eg running away from someone)

So I'm in the process of creating a tulpa. Just started tonight, I decided his visuals, his "world"/place of stay or what have you and what it looked like, and struck up a little conversation. It felt a little forced but from what I understand that's actually a part of creating one. Question is, am I doing this right or am I completely off? Thanks for the guide.

I have always loved meditation, psychedelics, and exploring experience.
Once, when I was unemployed, I went to the library to make the most of my time off. I found a book about "Integral Theory," a theory/map of consciousness. It looked like bullshit at first, but then I got so into it that I decided to go to grad school for a program centered around it.
I studied meditative traditions, developmental psychology, human capacity, etc. it was a really wild experience.
I ended up getting a job marketing self-help courses out of it. Really cheesy shit like "how to find your soulmate." Don't look at me, man. I just needed to pay my student loans. I barely even understand why Integral Theory has shit to do with that crap.
