Who here misses what the internet once was. Before moot left 4chan, before Youtube was monetised by globalists working for Google. Back when Gaming was seen as degenerate and women were seen as weird when they played games. Who here misses when the internet was a safe haven for social outcasts and robots alike. Now the internet has changed and has become a breeding ground for attention seeking faggots and people who recycle trash from years ago. I no longer belong in the group of 'outcasts' because they are simply normalfags who have different hobbies (e.g anime, gaming etc) and I have no place in normalfag territory because they're just too boring and have no essence.
I miss when the internet was for social outcasts and I hate how much it has changed since the early/mid 2000s.

I always assumed that's how people did things, and no I wasn't though that way, but I just learned it on my own.
If I were to deal with long numbers this is how I would go about it:
Just an example :349 x 29?
On MY head I do.
(300x30) -> 3*3 = 9000(add zeros) - 300 (because I rounded 29) = 8700
(40x30) - 40 = 1160 Same thing as above.
(9x30) - 9 = 261
Add them =10121
Also why everyone looks the same when I search for Korean porn.
First line:
9*9=1 carry the 8
9*4 (+8)=4 carry the 4
9*3 (+4)=31
(Step one: 9*349=3141)
New line:
Add a 0
2*9=8 carry the 1
2*4 (+1)=9
2*3=6
(Step two: 20*324=6980)
Final addition:
1+0=1
4+8=2 carry the 1
1+9 (+1)=1 carry the 1
3+6 (+1)=10
(Step three: 3141 + 6980 = 10121)
Conclusion: 349*29=10121
I find it easier to explain on paper

i grew up before common core, and it doesn't make a lot of sense to me because they don't go the direct route. they add a bunch of steps that aren't necessary unless you're lowest common denominator retarded.
for that problem I'd just do
350X30, (3.5*3) = 10,500
10,500 - 30 - 349 = 10,121

Basically this. I get that they want to standardize the way they do things, but telling someone they're wrong for doing it a different yet still correct way is major fucking retarded and I think that's why so many people are pissed with common core. It's like those dumbfuck tests they'd give you in school where two answers were right, but one answer was "more" right and you'd be 100% "wrong" if you didn't pick it.

I have anxiety and depression, obsessive-compulsive too and it appeared suddenly at the end of may, along a sensation of dizziness and unreality.
