My mom was an alcoholic who physically abused me when I was less than 2. My dad was able to divorce her and win sole custody. Most times that I saw her after that, she was drunk. She would blow smoke in my face, tell me she doesn't care about me, and one time took me drunk driving, we crashed but no one got hurt.
It's definitely fucked me up.

I have some hobbies, like gardening, hiking, fishing, reading, and mathematics, that keep me occupied. Plus I'm applying to PhD programs, so if I get accepted to one then I can live with all the other autists in math academia.
It's real lonely sometimes, but I mostly get lonely in the late hours of the night, and at that point I just go to sleep, and wake up feeling refreshed.

Classes beginonday for me too, have a recit of calculus on wednesday and learning for it right now. Have to pass this class. Failed 3/5 classes last term, will do recits for them as soon as possible. Will go to a different uni next year after summer vacation to do a different study from which i do now. Hate everyday i'm there following the classes and learning for exams. Have to finish this uear of my parents otherwise they won't help or support me next year when i will move out to go to the different uni. Fucking sucks but i go along with it with the hope of me being happy next year when i choose the right study.
There is this NEET that I knew from 10 or so years ago. He was very much in the situation most of /r9k/ describes. KV, no gf, weighs 300 pounds, watches anime all day. He lived in his grandma's basement for years until she passed away and then he suddenly disappeared. It's like he literally fell off the earth.
Well, yesterday I randomly got a call from him, and I went to see him. It had been a year or so since I last heard from him. He got a new apartment. He lost 100 pounds. He has a girlfriend. And he has a job that he actually loves down at a local butcher shop and meat market.
I was always sure that this guy was a lost cause. I never imagined he'd make it. But he did! Knowing his condition, I'm confident that if he can make it, anyone can.

Was not phased by it for the first few days. I got the call and was like 'ok' I then continuted browsing the internet for a few hours. Then all of a sudden I just started crying. For the following days i stayed in bed just crying.
