Most people can improve their appearance with effort.
I went from a 2/3-6/7 in highschool by getting a haircut, taking better care of my hygiene, taking care of my acne, dressing better, eating better and lifting weights.
I'd say maybe 80% of people have the potential to be above average if they were to just put the effort in.
