It's very high risk for kinda mediocre thrill factor. The idea of spending hundreds of hours to learn tricks seems like a complete waste of time. There's longboarding but it's a lot easier to go that fast and faster on a bicycle instead. Safer also.
I skateboarded for about 2 years.
I could do a few tricks n was good and all but it took, with no hyperbole, like 2 hours a day for 6 months to get one decent trick down good. Can be very exhaughsting and fustrating.
It's also dangerous.
