If you are 100% independently wealthy, I'd go for it. Just go completely Howard Hughes, disconnect from reality, and live in your happy fantasy world of flowers and bunnies.
Being a NEET is hard just like being a wagecuck. Unless you are rich, you must learn how to conserve your budget, be happy with the smaller things in life, be way less materialistic, learn how to cook with cheap ingredients, find ways to get food for cheap (hunting, fishing, and foraging are great skills to know anyway), be able to be happy with less stuff, etc..
In the end, it's way better than being a wagecuck. It's a major lifestyle change, and if you don't go into hermit mode, it can be very fun. That's the thing though: don't go into hermit mode. It's nice for a little bit just to stay to yourself, catch up on your backlog of anime, playing vidya, fapping, etc. like the NEET stereotype, but it does get old and boring very quickly. Get out and do stuff.
