I was thinking about the whole NotAllMen thing, and how many guys reacted to it. Basically when first world empowered feminist college age girls would say men hit on them too much, and all these loser beta guys would say "NOT MEEE" because they want to defend themselves rather than trying to see her point. But honestly it's not even true to begin with. Men don't hit on women too much. A lot of women receive next to no attention from men because they are disgusting and ugly. A lot of women receive the majority of the attention because they have a hot body or they are a particular fetishized subculture like gamer or goth or whatever. But society places men in a position where it is to be expected that he will initiate contact. It doesn't always happen that way but most of the time it does. So it is reliant upon guys to approach girls, and more often than not a majority of guys are approaching particular girls who probably receive most of the attention. And that's not wrong, and it doesn't mean that men hit on women too much. It just means that the way human society is forces the majority of men to direct their interest towards a relatively small group of women. Men hit on women exactly as much as should be expected for the way gender plays out in our society, and a lot of men don't hit on the majority of women because they have no interest in them. It is literally first world hot girl problems, and instead of disputing our personal guilt, we should dispute the very idea in the first place.
