An inbound call center doing customer service.
I have a great job.
My skills are applied to things that people will use for years. Once the finished product is installed the expression on the customer's face is priceless.
The knowledge that I execute one of the most important steps a company needs to take in order to satisfy a customer with the end product is amazing.
Another cool thing is that I simply work. Speed isn't prioritized over quality at this company. I get to work with my hands and I'm not hurried or micromanaged. This allows me to create great quality product.
Unfortunately, in America, companies like one I found by stroke of luck are far and few in between.
Most of any skilled or unskilled manual labor is all about rushing the project out of the door as fast as possible with little quality standards.
I feel especially bad for all of you retail and food industry friends. You guys are mostly treated like trash.
If everyone should be equal and resources should be divided based on just being born and nothing else then we should include gorillas (as theres one with a human like iq) and maybe even these chimpanzees which are not too dissimilar to us genetically. Why don't we take the money off everyone and provide houses, food, safety and so on for gorillas as well under social welfare and if they are genetically similar and also test as sentient and intelligent (at least as intelligent as some humans) why aren't we including them and what is a legitimate argument that they shouldn't be. Just like any other situation or liberal or left thought it's environmental barbarianism is it not? Given education opportunities they would all speak sign language and be able to perform menial jobs in society.

What should I do?
I'm 21, NEET living with mom, dropped out of community college twice due to depression. I'm not going to try to get a normal life anymore.
Basically I have two options:
>buy a high end PC (i dont have one, always post from phone) and live like a degenerate NEET behind my computer 24/7
or
>buy backpack, tent, sleeping bag and other camping gear, and just leave everything behind. living my life on the road while panhandling for food money
I have about 2500 dollars to my name and no debts, so both are technically possible. My mom is a pushover and has already accepted that I will probably live with her till I'm atleast 30. I just want to go on an adventure, either in an online fantasy world or in real life. But I refuse to live the typical slave life.
