Every night I'm here browsing my preferred boards and for a while now, several months ongoing, the quality of posts has getting worse and worse and worse.
Some boards are worse off than others. /v/ has moderators and generally keeps a higher amount of good posts than most boards right now. /b/ has a pretty good variety of posts to shitpost ratio. These are the two biggest and most popular board so they probably get the most attention from staff.
Other boards...not looking so good. /g/ is abysmal. I challenge you to find any good threads there. Between the constant shill posts and autists calling each other underage in every thread there is nary a good one to be found.
/tv/ is over-moderated by janitors and mods who don't actually understand the rules of the site or the subject matter of the board. It's by far the most pedestrian board on 4chan, with terrible normalfag tastes that would not have been tolerated in the past and the community would have been allowed to self-moderate.
/r9k/ is overrun by wusses.
/pol/ has the same problem as /tv/ where a low-brow mentality has taken over and dominates the board. It also needs cleaning up. No need for 15 threads about Donald Trump on any given time of day.
I could go on. But I'm tired. 4chan isn't good right now. People are going to stop coming here if they can't get that fix of instant gratification that comes with people replying to your posts with original thoughts or fun OC. Or at least a greater variety of reposts. What was the last good meme to even come out of 4chan? People are still posting pics of dudes tipping fedoras. Used to be we'd have moved on to the next thing by now.
