anyone else constantly mindblown at how amazing planes are?
They can fly hundreds of passagers half way around the world 40,000 feet in the air without ever touching the ground. and to think the first flight was just over 100 years ago is insane

Was on my first flight last summer.
Was kinda neat, but the principles behind heavier than air flight are well understood. The turbines themselves are interesting because I'm not fully aware of how they achieve compression.

The feeling of loneliness comes creeping up again. I managed to suppress it really well for almost a year now but now I can't fool myself any longer.
The worst part is I have literally zero female contact, even if I tried my hardest to find a girl I wouldn't even know where to start.
I have a few close male friends who are in the same situation as me and some people I talk to in uni but they're all guys as well and there are barely any girls in my classes.
