Get into something productive. Maybe do some recordings for Youtube, there are a few places on Reddit that have communities around recordings, both SFW and NSFW.
Maybe take up tailoring/Leatherworking, they use your hands and other than the up front cost of tools, aren't overly expensive. Producing things tends to give confidence boost and promotes a healthy mindset that combats Depression.

No matter what I do I can't work up the nerve to make cold approaches, why?
I've been out several times now with the intent of approaching women and asking them out until one says yes but I just can't work up the nerve. In the past 2 months I've only made 7 approaches, 2 gave me their numbers but it never went anywhere, although I did get a few dates and make out sessions out of it.
That's an average of 0.116667 approaches a day, going out about 3 days a week to the mall. So 0.27222 approaches a day constrained to 3 days a week. Right now Im at a community college. And its fine, whatever, its just hard to meet new people. I dont have a gf, but I dont mind.
Now, I see all my friends on social media hanging out with their "squads" and new friends they met at uni. And I have to say, Im pretty jealous.
Im going to transfer to a 4-year university in about a year, but by then I feel like its already pretty much over. How hard is it to make new friends? I guess maybe this is the wrong place to ask this but you guys keep it real, and thats what I want.
