I thought about this long and hard, and came to the conclusion that free will is a logical and physical impossibility. I mean think about it, how do you make choices? You weigh the options against each other, in a way that your brain allows you to, based on your previous experiences and knowledge and even subconcious influences that you have no control over.
If we define free will as the ability to make decisions free from any external or internal influences (like law does), it just isn't possible.
