Hey robots!
I have been making threads on here for the last few years on my birthday. Why? Because I have nothing to better to do obviously!
Usually I am sort of downtrodden about things on my birthdays but honestly this year I feel pretty darn okay. I probably shouldn't either. As things aren't really any better (although they aren't particularly worse) than they have ever been. Oh man. Is this what acceptance feels like?

they are a reminder that I have no social capital, that a year has passed with little if any progress, and that I am closer to being physically unwell with no one to care for me.

I finally realized I'm an aromantic asexual.
Not that tumblr special snowflake "I'm asexual so I'm different! Acknowledge me!" fake bullshit, but I'm legitimately fine with never having a romantic partner or having any sort of sexual activity with any sex.
I'm fine with masturbating myself to satisfy natural urges. Most of the time I really only pleasure myself with non-sexual fetishes anyway. Sometimes the thought of having sex and having a partner crosses my mind, but it's no different than wanting a cheeseburger or expensive object; it's not something that causes me any depression or notable discomfort.
