I would do my best to do the opposite of what my parents did.
My parents didn't make me play sports as a child, they didn't pressure me to do really well in school, they didn't encourage me to pick up any sort of interests or hobbies, they wouldn't allow me to have friends over when I actually had friends, they never really pushed me to do anything really. I just sort of existed along with them.
