My mother just showed me a picture of my high school bully receiving a Law degree in the local newspaper. She usually does this sort of thing when one of the locals achieves something, she feels the need to demonstrate that I have not met her standard. I can't tell if she honestly can't remember he bullied me or what, but it was a major contributor to my ongoing 5 years of heavy depression. she seemed taken back when I reacted angrily. Funny thing is she'd probably be shocked if she found my corpse in my bedroom now.
I am a NEET and 21 years old, and my mother makes me want to kill myself. If you have children why do you expect them to be so successful? You should be comfortable with the possibility that they may not achieve much with their life and that is fine. Just let me live out my meager existence in peace. I was never a normal kid. Never had friends, kids never wanted to hang out with me, got picked on a lot, teachers were always worried about me, etc
But back in highschool this girl messaged me because she "wanted to make sure I was okay" so we started talking. Soon we started to talk every day for hours on end. It surprised me a lot because she was an 8/10 so I had no idea why she would waste time on me. We got together and we've been together for the past three years.
She's pretty much my only friend and the only person I even talk or hangout with. She's crazy about me and would do anything for me. Yet I still feel so alone. I don't know how to relate to her at all. She's the stereotypical woman. So caught up in her own emotions that she doesn't really thing about anything else.
Do you think I'll always feel this alone? It feels almost the same as it did when I didn't have anyone to begin with.
