I feel ya bruh. This girl whom I've recently reconciled with was dropping hints everywhere, very obvious she likes me. We texted quite a bit, sometimes way into the night. 23 still at home. Parents are cool with it, and so am I. I must say I'm not american, so there really isn't that big of a stigma here (Canada) about that. For the US it sounds like a pretty big deal.
I'm still studying at uni, will be done at 25, and once I get a stable job I will probably leave. I got nearly 50k in savings, will be able to set down comfortably when I'm ready to.

Is your existence physically painful? There's always talk about the mental and emotional struggles of being above a healthy BMI but I rarely hear of the physical distress. What's it like having everyday be a physical struggle? Why isn't the physical pain enough for you to start eating better and exercising? I understand the motivational problems but I'd think there'd be a point where you just need to change.
Also, anon, you don't have to lose weight for people. If not for society, friends, and even yourself, then get better for your own physical body. You don't have to become a super model, but just enough to let the heart and body slow down and start working at a normal pace again. I wish you a great journey if you decide to try losing weight.
