My dog seemingly only bit in the lower torso, and it was able to awkwardly bound away for about 20 feet before it gave up and lay on the ground. For a few minutes it was breathing and blinking, but then rather suddenly it stopped and just went lifeless.
By what mechanism did it die? Assuming a heart attack, are the effects of such really that delayed?
