i was a teen in the 2000's and it was all very cringey. the things i hated the most were the shitty emo bands and crazy frog. i'd have to say it was an awkward phase in north america. i am not sure if it's possible to be ironic with it in 10 or 20 years.
the best part for me was gaming, shit was poppin left and right, and it was new and exciting. now it's all AAA titles that are force fed to you and more cinematic or graphically appealing with no substance. man i am getting old
