/r9k/ has a pretty different perception of human group dominance mechanics from actual reality. Thoughts?
>Alpha: someone who actually elicits trust from a group and thus has power over the actions of the whole. May not actually broadcast their decision, but is (whether aware or not) the person who can singlehandedly change the direction of a group's actions due to the members' genuine trust in them.
