1) No, I was a robot as a teenager, but I had a goal to learn how to talk to normal people and live a normal life, and I believe I reached that goal. It took me a few years, but it's doable.
2) I come back here for nostalgic reasons. Also I feel like advice threads help some people, and it feeds my inner altruism or whatever. And normies still chill in their rooms playing video games and whatnot. They don't spend ALL their time going out.
