Everyone here seems to like them for their "guy-like" qualities. And if guys like guys, that means they're gay right?
If women don't act like women, why would you find that attractive?
Why is it sexier to wear pants than to wear a skirt?
Or to wear a hat/beanie rather than just comb your messy ass hair?
Or to have a flat chest rather than the normal chest of most girls?
Tomboys have some of the worst qualities because they don't act like women. They act like they're entitled to be treated like "one of the guys" just because she acts male.
Not to mention they have terrible taste in clothes and usually dress trashy in order to appear more "manly".
Men who like tomboys are no doubt closeted homos that like jerking off to something they consider "straight" even though there are clearly masculine qualities to the women.

What does /r9k/ think of Night Vale and surrealism/absurdism in general?
Night Vale is mediocre. Absurdism is dated. Surrealism is still pretty cool if done correctly.
I've only listened to two episodes, but it just made me wish it was serious. The focus on humor ruins the atmosphere. It reminds me a lot of the Deb of the Night show from VTM:B though. I just wish it was more of a subtle horror/creepy show than a comedy thing, it ruins it for me.
