Having almost killed myself a couple of times when I was an edgy freshman in high school (and for a few years before that) due to legitimate reasons, it actually gripped me. The smile at the end kind of just... gave me an extreme mix of emotions. I used to dream about having someone to love, and then wake up like none of it ever happened. Those were the second to worst times I've ever had, when I would just wish for it all to end. I guess I'm rambling, but now that I have a fiancee and haven't had a suicidal thought in over a year, it just sticks with me, I guess. The signup process scene was probably the worst because you just know it was going to be a romance thing, and I really just kind of wanted to both punch him in his face and have a heart-to-heart.
