why do so many girls who do good in high school decide to go to college for fucking art? Like what the fuck do they think they are going to do for a living? I know many people who went to art school who make a comfortable living illustrating for companies, one even became a storyboard artist, and many do freelance work, drawing fetish porn commissions online. And they get to chose their own hours which is nice.

is okcupid a viable way to meet girls? I'm decently attractive and have had girls hit on me/show interest, but I've always been too anxious to act on it. Like one girl at my old job would always laugh at what I'd say even if i wasn't joking and would touch my shoulder with her hand and say "lol anon you're so funny" but some weirdo asked her out and they started to date so I can't ask her out anymore to be my girlfriend.
So if I'm 6'1" and 175lbs and have an ok/symmetrical face that's sort of oval shaped will I be able to get at least a 6/10 not super fat girlfriend from okcupid? I get compared to the character "Ryan" from the tv show "The office" a lot in appearance, he's the one who's the temp and the one who started the fire in case anyone forgot.
I play the guitar and am a music teacher and music producer (not "ooi I have FL studio, i am music man!" type producer but I have a job at a small recording studio and am assistant head-engineer there so I work a lot) and I paint pictures and like to drink fancy drinks like white russians, smoke marijuana sometimes, and play with my cat who is my only friend. Also I play videogames but won't post that on okcupid because it makes me look like a giraffe
So, do I do the okcupid and get a girlfriend that way? Or do I just "be myself" and be alone forever because I'm not very talkative and am very shy/anxious/awkward (and not "ooh look at me, I have anxiety" but I had to go to a therapist in highschool about it and have had prescriptions for prozac, valium, and more recently klonopin but stopped taking them because drinking made me too drunk so I'd rather be a little drunk and just have anxiety attacks than have no panic attacks and be blackout drunk after two or three drinks) around new people and even people I've known a while
