If you had friends and a girlfriend before, you probably had a decent and normal life.
Eventually you start losing it all. And then you get really sad inside, so that sadness motivates you to make friends or get laid again. And since youre basically just a normie anyway, it won't take too long. You just needed the motivation.
If you never had any of that stuff, it would be completely foreign to you. During your teenage years you're probably depressed a lot, wondering what's wrong. In adulthood you just stop feeling things altogether. You don't pursue love or friendship, you wouldn't know how anyway. You're a robot. You don't feel, you don't love, you just work.

For those of you that have some answers on how to improve your lives but haven't... Why? What stops you, even knowing what you need to do?
It seems pointless. And some of the things that I think are right conflict with the environment around me, and unnecessary conflict is not something that I think is right.
That and poor self-control. Either emotions running too high or indulgence in whatever I'm indulging in not coming at high enough of a cost for me to really care in the moment.
It all requires abandoning my family and/or my coworkers. I'm not a sociopath who can just ruin other people's lives for myself. If I have to sacrifice my own wants and desires for the sake of others, so be it.
