When I look at some of the hardcore beyond saving betas that I know, they all of one thing in common, victim mentality. I don't think victim mentality causes betaness since I know alot of professional victims who are not betas, some use it in a manipulative and smart ways as a matter of fact, but I do think victim mentality keeps beta indoctrination secure in its place.
Some dude was saying these are the people who didn't have adversary in life growing up and didn't get used to taking control of situations when they were younger, so now that they have problems they rather assume the role of the victim instead of rising up and taking control of their life situation. I'm starting to realize he was right. Most of the betas I know didn't have dad's that held them accountable or punished them, had helicopter mom's and were escorted in and out of everywhere, had their shit taken care of wherever they went, never had to deal with the bully cuz mommy went to school principal for him, so on and so forth. It's only around the age of 18 when they're left on their own is when they start facing adversity, but sucks cuz it's too late to learn problem solving, so best course of action is to become victims, go on Facebook and complain about girls for not liking nice guys, being the victims of their shitty gfs instead of dumping their asses.

I used to be like this. You are right on the money, at least as far describing my life until I was about 25. Helicopter mom + beta dad = victim mentality.
It is very hard to snap out of it tough, the only validation you receive is from people that want to keep you that way. People who are willing to give you good advise usually dumb it down because they think you are an idiot (and rightfully so).
People with victim mentalities are just not fun to be around. A few of them run around in my social circle and we mostly mock them behind their backs. It's hard not to. I used to be like that and people probably mocked me. Don't be like that.
Noticed a pack of wild betas following their female trainer around the gym and couldn't believe my eyes and ears. The aforementioned betas received relationship, diet, and lifting advice from a fat woman in a "trainer" t-shirt.
Typically, during my workouts, I listen to music. However, I just broke my headphones and had the unfortunate experience (this morning) of overhearing and consequently observing betas and their female trainer. These 'men'- who workout in a group - received a host of valuable guidance from their female trainer.
1) Stretching and cardio are more important than strength-training. (I don't know if she actually told them this, but it is what their workout reflected.) - These Betas literally spent 3/4 of their 45 minute workout stretching and waddling about. -The only real exercises they did were bench press and assisted pull-ups.
2) "Women don't really pay attention to men's bodies." (This is verbatim.) - One of the betas asked do women prefer toned or "massive" guys, and received that as a response. He proceeded to pry and got the answer "it depends on the guy." This, was then followed by "but don't workout for others." (probably the only valuable advice she gave.)
3) "Cut down on red meats and eggs." (also a direct quote.) - The fattest and most misshapen of the betas asked if he should up his protein intake. Said beta was then told that too much protein is bad for the heart and can lead to unwanted weight gain.
