Last thursday, near the end of the day, two high level personnel over heard me ranting/swearing/shit-talking the company (for a solid 20-30 minutes mind you). As I walked into the common office area to use the printer, they asked me what I was laughing about. I was a bit perplexed by the tone in their voice and their body language. Then it occurred to me, and I was immediately overcome with terror. They fucking heard everything I said. My voice had carried through the ventilation, or gaps in in the doors. I quickly exited the room, nearly tripping on myself and drove home. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get fired as I walk in tomorrow. This wasn't some throwaway retail job either. It was my first real foot in the door to a very profitable and well known company with decent earning potential. It fucking took me long enough, as I just turned 27. Atleast in the short term I'll get some time off. Eventually I'll need to start wage again, however I'm never going to be able to do better than this current job. This job is all networking (I got in through sheer luck), and I just fucking incinerated my bridges.

As far writing your own stuff. Create a vocal melody in your head, like a chorus or a verse that you think sounds cool, write the words down and then play guitar along with it.
