Why is /pol/ so autistic and hyper about saving western civilization? What is the point? What is there to save? The "good old days", if they ever existed, are long gone. I feel as if /pol/ and similar entities are trying to save this IDEA of this "great civilization" that only existed for a short time way back in the past.
How is pol any different from any other place. We all want the IDEA of a gf, the IDEA of anything is the only thing han beings can strife for in the long run. Western civ is worth saving as it is nearest to us and gives us a feeling of community that is lost in the modern world.

I think the only people who do this don't have any real problems, and they're just kind of spoiled/selfish. Probably given everything but when sex isn't given to you, you can't handle it.
