Met a cute girl on a night out, texted her the next day and asked her to meet up for drinks, and she agreed. I'm your typical kv NEET, but she didn't seem to mind for some crazy reason. Even liked how I was "a little weird". Fine by me. We got along real great and I was pretty stoked, but then she said she was only visiting her parents for the weekend and still studying abroad for 2 mths so we decided not to date until she got back.
We kept in touch over text and later Skype, our messages got longer and longer and in her last message she asked a lot about my life and said I could take my time replying (since it was so long). Cool.
About 3 wks later I sent her a message and I got no answer for 3 or 4 days, and so I texted her to let her know I replied, and then she said:
Oh, did you really? I'm sorry! I logged in [on Skype] every day for 2 weeks and figured you lost interest, so I met someone else.
Me: Wtf, ok. So in a week you met someone else that you like more than me??
Her: It's new, but he seems really excited about me and it made me realize I wanted someone that is as excited about me as I am about them. Like you clearly weren't.

I really wanna buy a Macbook Pro once the new 2016 upgraded one comes out (most probably next month) and I've the money to buy it (half of which I won at online betting).
But today, talking about it with my uncle, he said "[anon], these are whims, it costs too much. You can pratically do the same with any other computer".
At this point I am really down. I am CRAVING about buying it. I wanna try Apple products for the 1st time.
What should I do? Buy it or not?
If I'd buy it, I'll feel guilty about all the money and about what my relatives think but I really want it.

Macbook pro was my first computer. Got my last one in 2011.
For starters, which one are you buying? They vary greatly in cost and specs.
The only reason I use mac is its what my dad buys, as he has always hated windows. I personally prefer the OS, but in general I suck with computers.
Bear in mind you can't easily switch stuff out of a mac, the computers aren't really designed for it and apple will void any warranty you have.
But if you don't intend to customize it then that doesn't matter.
At the end of thr day, its your money. Buy what you want, fuck your family.
Why do people play vidya instead of working for real? All you seem to be doing in vidya is working. Look at this Super Mario game, all you do is going from one level to the next gathering coins. Why not get a job at a mine? Why waste your time doing virtual quests?
