Why do people play vidya instead of working for real? All you seem to be doing in vidya is working. Look at this Super Mario game, all you do is going from one level to the next gathering coins. Why not get a job at a mine? Why waste your time doing virtual quests?

It is easier pressing buttons to jump and get coins than breaking rocks in real life for ore.
cant get a real job

Yes you can. Go to some mine in some rural backwater town. They always hire anyone. Better than mining ore in Skyrim.

And bonus black lung to boot!
Though I do feel like an Appalachian miner would get more tail than the average NEET. They have interesting lives and have to be in shape to not die after all.
Certainly less shit than McDonalds.

britfag, there are no such things are rural backwater towns here
Because video games are fun and involve zero risk.

What's your obsession with mining? Nobody in their right mind would willingly become a miner.
I would but I primarily play mount&blade
>you will never lead a small band of horsemen in 17th century poland, making a living off of defending villages from bandits, escorting caravans and running errands for warlords

I was wondering this the other day.
I realized that a lot of games today are mostly just errand running simulators. DCUO especially and to a lesser degree The Witcher.
I like first person shooters and Mario Kart shit for the fast, straightforward experience. You can start and stop as you like.
Because the video games I play are impossible in real life, like the witcher, metroid, any scifi game, etc.

That's what they call growing up and out of videogames anon. Not that life has any actual purpose either way. Just now you got even less to do.
