So I just went to the shops because I was craving some sprite. It was about a 10 minute walk away. But when I got there I realised I had forgotten my wallet. I was annoyed that I would have to walk all the way home then back again, but then it suddenly occurred to me that I could just walk out the shop with it and no one would notice. So I did it. My heart was racing faster than it ever has, I was so nervous. On my walk home I kept thinking I was hearing someone following me. Now I'm sat at home and I can't bring myself to open it. I feel so awful and I can focus on anything without feeling immense guilt. I've never stolen anything before or even broken the law.
TLDR: I stole a bottle of sprite and now I feel guilty. Should I take it back?
