How can we stop normies from ruining anime?
I keep seeing anime shit referenced by normalfaggots more and more often, usually ironically.
They even treat shit like boku no pico now as some sort of epic maymay like two girls one cup.
Why can't they fuck off and leave our hobbies alone?
It always been that way, normies always liked animes. It's not "our hobbies", anime are mainstream since the 80's (Pretty much since westerners started watching them)

You're kidding right? I guess those guys tape trading fan subs in the late 80s early 90s were complete normalfags right? Anime has always been a loser dork nerd thing whatever you want to call it. It didn't get popular in the west until toonami and even then it was still seen as a thing for kids. Most people grew out of it, then around the late 2000s early 2010s the "nostalgia" trend started and normalfags started referencing old toonami shows then with the rise of nerd culture becoming extremley popular normalfags started to pick up on otaku culture as well, most of this is thanks to shit like SAO and SnK as well as "meme culture"
I'm not saying anime has never been popular here until now because the late 90s early 2000s did have a boom here because of toonami, but back then it was popular to normalfag kids, most people back then who weren't kids that were into it aren't what i'd call normalfags.

for me, today I got paid $10 an hour to mow the company president's yard. pulled off the production line, handed a lawn mower and a truck to drive there in, and mowed his lawn. money is nice to have yes, and it was less boring than my normal job (putting bags in boxes)
