I have some obsessive tendencies. As a teenager I had fixations on fictional characters. It was a mixture of love, affection, and sometimes I would take on mental attributes of the character and feel as if I were becoming them. I'm 27 now and this hasn't happened in many years, but I still have obsessive tendencies- I cyber stalk real people I'm fixated on, but my feelings are weak and usually only last a few weeks before I stop. I also feel insanely jealous if the person I'm fixated on appears to be giving attention to things other than me.
I know that stalking people isn't normal, but are my fixations and jealousy normal? Do all people feel this but they don't act on their impulses because they know how to be normal? Or am I a god damn creeper?
