Why are some people lazier than others? Do you think it has to do with one's upbringing and life experiences, or is it due to biological factors? And how can I become more hardworking? For me I was narcissistic as a kid and I was surrounded by people where success and hardwork meant having a 9-5, a couple kids, and a decent house. I thought I was better than all that so I became extremely hardworking in fear of having a shitty and dull life. So it's really just a paradigm I guess. Some people are satisfied with being lazy af and some people can't stand it.

Your eyes shoot open around 1:00 AM for what seems like the 17th time this evening. You are half-heartedly attempting to sleep, but you feel a need to attend to less pressing matters than rest. The glow of your monitor glows blue across the room from you, the portal perched on what you call a "workstation".
The light burns your eyes a bit, causing them to wince instinctively for a brief moment. There's a torrent that's been running for a few hours now, anticipation conspiring with insomnia to keep you up through the night. The thick, blue sheets draped over your frame have fallen away slightly, and you consider your position for a moment.
