Who /noThanksgiving/ here?
My family is extremely small (5 of us in total including me and my parents) and the other two can't be assed to come. We haven't done Thanksgiving in years.

How do you guys deal with depression? I likely, can't do much and I am honestly without much idea on what to do.

I still live with my parents, I told them a few months ago that I think I have been through depression for quite a few years, but I would never act sad around them. I don't think they really believe me even though they know how shit depression is as my Grandfather that is probably dying also have depression.
tl;dr should I just seek a medic or something? I have been thinking on just leaving my account bank for my parents and suicide lately.

You'll need to push yourself again and again and again to do *something* whenever you feel the emptiness coming in. You will probably fail many times and have setbacks, but you might get better over time.

Get addicted to something for motivation. I'd recommend things that are free and not drugs, like tv, anime, film, a specific video game, etc.
Antidepressants help a lot.
SSRIs are relatively minor in terms of side effects, and it isn't hyperbolic to say that sertraline saved my life.
