I hate how people are always like this. Always the same shit of defending the aggressors and bullies who make the clear decision to make someone's life hell. Getting bullied for years is far worse than getting raped and that is something they will never understand. They will never understand years upon years of mental and physical torture, something that will drive someone completely insane outside of their own will.
Getting bullied is not just getting called names what almost everyone seems to think. I wish it was. It's people beating you up regularly and constantly getting threatened with your life. It is people pulling a knife to your throat to steal your money and to make sure you keep shut. It is people stealing your possessions and harassing you constantly while girls are praising the bullies. It is downright criminal and no one cares since no persecution will ever happen. Police don't care, school doesn't care, they all side with the bullies because they are the popular ones. I wish I had something to defend myself when they pulled a knife to my throat. But I just had to suck it up while bullies are getting rewarded and defended left and right. It is always an entire group against just you, you feel completely powerless and bottle the anger up until it's too late.
Now I left that behind and I am studying in university where people no longer bother me. The only reason it ended like that is because I have an insane amount of patience and control. But the scars and the emotional pain will always remain. I simply can't interact properly with other human beings any more. That is the price of getting bullied and that is what only the people who have been bullied as well can understand.
