I always have several threads that I either started or contributed something to and I speed dial them and return to them regularly to make sure they don't die and to see if my posts got replies.
I make threads on some of the longer lasting boards like /gif/, /hm/, /s/, /v /, /r9k/, etc.
I test things out in /b/ since those are throwaway threads.
It's nice having a thread garden.
